TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: intense ruby color.
- Nose: aromas of red fruit accompanied by herbaceous notes on an elegant mineral background.
- Palate: sweet and balanced with silky tannins that lead to a fresh and prolonged finish.
WINEMAKING
Varieties: 60% Mencía, 40% native white varieties (Godello, Doña Blanca, Palomino, Malvasía, Merenzao...).
Manual harvest in 14 kg boxes.
100% destemmed grapes.
In contact with skins for 5 days.
Fermentation in foudre with native yeasts without temperature control.
Aged 6 months in barrels.

José Antonio García began his adventure in Bierzo in 2010. The winery is characterised by following a philosophy of minimal intervention and respect for the environment and tradition. Its wines are of the highest quality and reflect the character of the terroir from which they come.
