CURIOSITIES
During the 80s, Martínez Lacuesta's Special Reserves became known as the wine of Kings and Popes, since our wines were served on all trips and at most gala dinners, visits by foreign leaders or at Christmas. This is attested to by numerous menus of official lunches and dinners as well as commemorative labels of those years: trip to Santiago de Compostela of his SS John Paul II in 1982, trip to Spain of his SS John Paul II in 1989, trip of SS.MM. the King and Queen of Spain to Bangkok and many others.
