Fefiñanes 1583 2021

Fefiñanes 1583 is a very well-finished white wine, very expressive, complex, structured and harmonious. It is made from a delicious Albariño, whose first vintage was made in 1995. Palacio de Fefiñanes has been linked to wine since the 17th century. In the early years of the 20th century is when the winery was conceived as a business project. The unique albariño grape from the Salnés Valley has always been the protagonist of our wines. A variety that they pamper, preserving its character, its extraordinary expressiveness and uniqueness.









TASTING NOTES:

Sight: Pale lemon colour, elegant and crystalline.

Nose: Intense and expressive aroma, where we find citric and tropical aromas combined with touches of fine French oak.

Palate: In the mouth it is dry, ample and fresh. Abundance of fruit flavours and aromatic herbs.




DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN: Rías Baixas.





WINEMAKING: Made with 100% Albariño grapes.




AGEING: Aged for 4 months in Bordeaux barrels and a further 2 months in stainless steel tanks.




CURIOSITIES: The first Viscount of Fefiñanes was born in 1583. He was a hero in the service of his King and his country. He continued the project of his ancestors to finish the construction of the Fefiñanes Palace, as we know it today.
