CURIOSITIES

The Alfonso family has been making wine for generations in Val do Umia, with writings from the early twentieth century that already speak of the harvests and the production of wine from the careful work of the vineyard. The Pedralonga winery was founded in 1997, the work is professionalized, but it reflects the same philosophy of our ancestors. The vineyards are influenced by an Atlantic climate, which provides mild temperatures and abundant rainfall for much of the year, and are suitable for grapes such as Albariño. In addition, wines with their own temperament are made. Albariños and personal red wines, which stand out for their balanced acidity, and are distinguished by the mineral taste provided by the granite floors.
