TASTING NOTES
- View: Garnet colour.
- Nose: Aromas of ripe fruit accompanied by herbaceous and scrubland notes.
- Mouth: Unctuous without being heavy. Fresh and with great structure. Pleasant and prolonged finish.
ELABORATION
100% Monastrell variety.
Fermentation with native yeasts.
Aged for 19 months in French oak barrels.
CURIOSITIES
Casa Castillo, which is one of the most significant wineries in Jumilla, has become increasingly famous since its first vintage in 1991. The family that owns it started a project to make quality wines in 1985. The old buildings were rebuilt and replaced with more modern cellars.
