Idoia Blanc is a white wine produced on the Ca N'Estruc estate located on the slopes of the Montserrat mountain with a blend of the Xarel.lo, Garnacha Blanca, Macabeo and Chardonnay varieties. This white wine fermented in barrel is aged for 5 months. Idoia Blanc is part of the Uvas Felices project, an association of the best winemakers in Spain whose aim is to offer wines from different Spanish regions and appellations.
Tasting Note:
Sight: Bright yellow.
Nose: Intense, notes of vanilla, citrus, ripe fruit and toasted touches.
Palate: Creamy and structured, with body. Fruity and fresh character with good acidity.
Harvest: Manual. From 22nd to 31st August for the white Grenache, from 10th September for the Xarel.lo and from 15th for the Macabeo.
Vinification: Cleared in stainless steel tanks and fermented in French oak barrels with selected yeasts for 18 days at a controlled temperature of 15ºC.
Aging: Aged for 5 months in new French Allier oak barrels with one or two uses
