Esenzias by Fuentenarro 2018 is a red wine aged for 18 months in new oak barrels. With vineyards in Ribera del Duero and produced by Bodegas Fuentanarro.
TASTING NOTES:
Appearance: It has a marvellous cherry red colour, with garnet rim.
Nose: The nose is very powerful and complex, highlighting the maturity of the grape with intense and clean fruity aromas with well-defined aromas of coffee and toffee, with wood perfectly integrated into the wine, a mineral background and spicy hints of cinnamon, vanilla, completed with sensations of aromatic herbs such as thyme or juniper.
Mouth: In the mouth it is elegant, tasty and fruity, with magnificent structure, with fine tannins and sweet, friendly, expressive at all times recalling huge fruit that has, cocoa, chocolate, coffee bean, large and persistent, in short, a wine that knows what it smells.
VINEYARDS: Belonging to Fuentenarra located in the municipality of La Horra in the Ribera del Duero, a region renowned worldwide for the quality of its wine production.
HARVEST: characterised by the minimum production per hectare of 2000 to 3500 kg when the maximum is 7000; giving rise to the production of high quality wines.
AGEING: 18 months in new oak barrels.
