Elaboration and Aging:
It is made with grapes from vineyards of about 30 years in clay soils - calcareos at 800 m altitude, located in the town of Anguix, Burgos. Traditional elaboration in deposits of stainless steel with maceration prefermentativa in cold. It performs its aging for about 5 months in second year American oak barrels. Its stabilization is done by natural means.
Harvest information
The 2016 vintage declared as very good is very reminiscent of the Ribera del Duero of the late 80s and 90s. With a winter and spring favoured by the rains and a summer of contrasting temperatures between day and night as is typical in our area. We reach a point of optimum ripeness for the vineyard, which is blessed by gentle rains in September that help to alleviate a dry summer. The wines of this vintage have a high colouring, fruity, floral and very mineral aromas with a suitable balance that will contribute to a good ageing.
