TASTING NOTES

Appearance: dark cherry colour with medium to high layer and ruby rims in movement in the glass.
Nose: Medium intensity, presence of red and black fruit, even hints of ripe fruit, herbaceous, toasted, smoky contributions, slightly spicy spices, mineral-earthy background.
Palate: Fresh, medium and quite long finish with good persistence.

ELABORATION

The expressiveness of the wines that mature in jars is spectacular. There are many differences with other wines or grapes that are aged in a more conventional ageing, that of stainless steel and that of ageing in barrels.

Tinaja de Zaleo is a wine with soul, it tastes like country wine, like grandpa's wine. The vats offer us a pure wine, with hardly any interference with the vineyard.
