Viña Sastre Pago de Santa Cruz is born from the land of La Horra and its old vineyards, from which grows a balanced wine, full of nuances, of great purity and freshness.
TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Intense cherry red colour with violet tones.
- Nose: Complex and persistent highlighting the ripeness of the grape with aroma of red fruits in liqueur, spiced with nutmeg, fennel, violet and with a well-marked wood giving aromas of vanilla, coconut and cinnamon.
- Palate: Tasty, well armed in body with lively, broad and very long tannins.
PRODUCTION
100% Tinta del País variety. Wines from plots with different peculiarities, with a combination of climate, soil and ages that allow special and unique wines. Aging of 18 months in new American oak barrels.
CURIOSITIES
All these particularities contribute TO THE STYLE OF VIÑA SASTRE WINE. Resolutely rich, dense, fatty, due to the earliness of its terroir, but also elegant, distinguished, pure and with a lot of freshness thanks to the Tinto Fino and the perfectly balanced composition (limestone / sand) of its soils.
