El Origen de Prieto Pariente is a red wine made by Martina and Ignacio Prieto Pariente, the sons of the founder of Bodegas José Pariente, in the wine region of Castilla y Leon with 75% Tempranillo grapes; 20% Grenache; 5% Cabernet. Selected very old and unique vineyards in the moors of Valladolid to create a crystal and complex wine. Origin is fluid, with volume and structure.
A wine that excites with its elegant aroma, complex, rich in nuances of ripe but fresh fruit with harmonious accompaniment of spices, light roasted and country charm of balsamic herbs. Tasty and powerful but gentle discourse illuminates the mouth with the serene glow of the moors of Old Castile.
Development and Aging
Tempranillo grapes come from vineyards located in the municipalities of Mucientes, Pedrosa del Rey and Valbuena de Duero.Las Garnacha grapes from the same vineyard of the Tempranillo Rey.Las Pedrosa of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes come from a small vineyard situated willows Valley, in the town of Mucientes (Valladolid) whose planting dates from 1950. The quality of the raw material joins an elaboration of precision (double positive discrimination of grapes, fermented separately, aging in oak and malolactic in French oak barrels, only 20% new).
Controlled spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks and malolactic fermentation temperature. After fermentation passes aged for 17 months in new French oak and used in 225 and 500l.
