CURIOSITIES
Stratum Wines is a project of Bodega Cerrón. In 2011, the fourth generation of the winegrowers' family began to recover the "Plant Heritage" of the town of Fuente Álamo, highlighting those historic vineyards of local varieties planted ungrafted that had been abandoned.
The vineyard of "La Calera" was recovered in 2013, producing its first harvest in 2017. The results have been excellent, obtaining high scores from critics.
The full potential of the vineyard is not yet known, which has 1.67 hectares of changing soil due to geological faults.
The soil is worked without a tractor, with individual hoes and manual clearing.
